Barriers

Today we read a poem and we were figuring out why it was named that and what it was about there were different questions and we answered them it was named barriers because it was Maori person saying Kia Ora and her name then the other person not knowing and getting it wrong and it is a barrier in between different cultures that is what it means.

Anzac day

Anzac day is a day to remember what happened. 

What is Anzac? Anzac is Australian and New Zealand people going into war.

they were working together to fight the British.

2779 New Zealanders died  and 8700 Australians died.

My Reflection of book pt.2

today i read a book and it was the same book but i read more of it and this time it was bringing the avengers together and they brought them to the helicarrier which was an aircraft carrier but flying in the air also nick fury helped captain america with hs problems about freezing in the ice and sleeping for seventy years. but when they got to iron man they had a lot of trouble with getting h into the team.

My Reflection of book

So read a book that was called avengers and this is a book about the movie when loki takes the tesseract and tries to take te world in his command and he fight the avengers but also take control of hawkeye and he helps loki but nick fury was stopping them and maria hill was thinking that they were in her team but then nick fury warned her and she just dived for cover when hawkeye shot his arrow and they drove away and she drove after them and slowed them down but they got away with the tesseract but the whole of S.H.I.E.L.D collapsed on itself.that is where i got up to in the book and this is just a reflection of the story.

Task description: i read a book and i did a reflection on it and tis book s very interesting and it is based of a movie.

Eleven

Task Description: we had to read the text then answer the questions then highlight the adjectives and stuff in the sentences. then we had to write a description of the two pictures and say what the clues were to help you. then we had to write different sentences of what we have learnt as an eleven year old.

Finding my place

Task Description: we had to read the text and answer what was it about and then highlight some of the sentences the adjective, noun, verb, preposition and adverb. then write paragraph about the picture and then the paragraph.

The quest

Task Description: we had to read the text the Quest by Leith Cooper and then say what it was about. In The Quest there was a footy game and at the end of the game there was an old man looking for something he looked through all of the discarded rubbish. He found the thing in the middle of the rubbish and it was in an apple because it was false teeth and he bit into the apple.

We also practiced our grammar by highlight words and we described the sentences. We started learning about inferences so we inference what the image was about.

Saving McDonalds

Task Description: we had to read the text and understand it really good, then we had to do our summary of the story and what are some of the perks. than we had to highlight the subject and the verbs also the independent sentence and dependent sentence. also we had to say if it ewas short how many sentences and how complex it is.
