Yr 7&8 Extension

Today we had to put our thoughts into what we needed to do or what we have already done if earth would die in 12 months. We worked on this today and we had to work out many different things I could do a lot more than I put in there but a lot of the things were put down but if that did then I do think Elon musk could help us and a lot of other rich people.

Streets for everyone

We had to work on this which was some points we had to fix or improve to put our treasure hunt. also what we had to put in like the name and where the location. my group had a pretty tricky time with what the clues will be and what the locations will be.

Treasure hunt for Extension

We had to figure out how to do a treasure hut we planned it by going around the street and we had good places to put the clues and where the treasure is and what the name should be. we went out with tony and bhav to look around to think of what we will install around the place. the difficult part was planning what we will do and how we will do it.

Kinetic energy

Today we had Extension. We learnt that 6 percent of NZ energy is from the wind turbine farms. But we also learnt how it makes energy it spins fast from the wind and grinds the gears. Solar wind This is when wind turbines convert kinetic energy. This is caused when wind blades are attached to a rotor to the powers of the generator.

term 4 reflection

My favorite subject is inquiry research the thing that i don’t like the most is talking in front of other people. This term we also had secret santa and shared lunch it was very exciting for me. We did the paideia seminar i was a little bit shy to talk but i still talked. we also did paideia seminar three i was talking more in paideia seminar three. On term three we went to gravity we did all these flips it was so fun.

On term three we didn’t do the paideia seminar because we didn’t have enough time to do the paideia seminar. We also did 3d printing with 3d pens i tried making a ring that had a gem in it my most favorite present that i got was a minion car.

Toby: Then he went inside his house and decides what to do with it, after a few hours staring at the legendary thing, he finally decided what to do with it. Kauri: He fixes his Waka, stored some resources for the journey, and gets going! Toby: Once he had landed on the safe water he began his journey, but oh no he just remembered the tentacled monster and the… Taniwha! Kauri: He had a plan, it was to poke the tentacled monster in the face and shine his light beacon that he had crafted. Toby: After scaring and killing the beasts he had finally returned to his homeland, gifting the gold for his freedom!
