Playing Games

My favourite game was Ki o Rahi because there was more information and it looked like the people wanted to get points for their team. There are two teams to play Ki ORahi, Kiioma and Taniwha. 


Kīoma score by touching Pou/s with the Kī (the ball then running the Kī through and placing it down in to convert pou touches into points.

One rule is that if the ball goes out of bounds the last person in possession has to pass it over to the other team. And another rule is Kiioma scores by touching the ground and then they kick off.

Jayne, Me (Kauri) Daddy and Justice

Jayne

Her two favourite things to do in Summer are eating BBQ and not being cold. She also recently shaved off all her hair.

Daddy

His likes to hang out with the family at the beach and he likes to go for long bush walks.  Daddy has a habit of telling silly jokes at dinner time.

Justice

He likes to be warm and not cold, and also ride his bike.  Justice has seen all the Star Wars movies more than one time each.

My favourite food is coleslaw. It is my favourite food because when I take my first bite it reminds me of that feeling of garlic butter melting in your stomach. It has cabbage, cheese, salad dressing, mayonnaise,carrots, pepper and onions.

The differences between the wharepuni and my house are that my house has no Maori patterns, also my house has a my room, my mum and dad's room and my brothers' rooms and my sister's room and the wharepuni only has one big room.

The things that are the same are that my house is made out of wood, the wharepuni is also made out of wood, are house is for having shade, shelter from rain and for sleeping at night, the wharepuni is the same.

Plane crashing:

when i grow up i want to be a piloter and take people places where they want to go for free. so when i was taking some people to Mexico there was a problem we were all out of fuel and heading on a crash landing. Everybody was still alive on the bright side we got to mexico but the bad thing is how am i supposed to get back to new zealand. So we started looking for people that can give us food and water and me get a ride back to new zealand. but there were only crashed planes in mexico and some shops that are a banded so we just took food from the shop and some water from the shops.

The walk:

Once we finished getting the food we were in the middle of nowhere so we were walking on the path. But then a bush came and the people said where do we go now.  After that I  said we are going in, there was a steep hill  and we all went down and climbed back up. then there were a lot of trees in the way and we climb up and swinging. And then there were wild tiger so we Trapped them in trees.

Home time:

Then we found sold houses and we bought them. And i was left then i was lonely and tired so i took a rest. Then i woke up but in a house and i snuck away. Then i came back for food and water then i came to an airport. And went back to new zealand.

Mr Wolf recount

First Mr Moran “said to line up at the stairs. After that he said we have to walk to the field quietly. next Mr Moran said. that we were playing whats the time Mr Wolf. jane was the one that tagged Mr Moran.

Sprint track recount

First we lined up between the stairs, after that we sat down. Next we stood up and walked silently to sit down. After that Mr Moran said we have to be quiet. Because there are other classes working. After that Mr moran was explaining the instructions.

First Mr Moran told us to line up. at the start line and told us when we raced. After that Mr Moran told us to race to Mrs Moala. It was the top four final After the race.

First one group of the girl went. next went the rest of the girls. The girls were running and the boys were cheering. The boys were also laughing. And some boys were saying i’m cold and i’m colder than ice.

Next one group of the boys went, next the rest of the boys went. The boys were running. And the girls were cheering.They were also laughing. When i went running the grass was so cold, that it was like ice that was Melted, and the temperature was cold.

Star-lord

i got a new book this book i have is called Star-lord. i like star-lord i have seen both volumes and i like the second volume better. the second one is when star-lord meets his dad. And he kills his dad.

Immersion assembly

The first day back to school i came to class to put my bag away. when the bell rang. we lined up and went to immersion assembly. mr Burt was talking about musical madness. After that Mr Burt, mr Wiseman, mr Jacobson, mr Somerville and mrs Nua sang a song about musical madness saves the day.

First mr burt was talking to us about the team's movie. next  was team 1’s there one was them playing snap with music and whatever song plays they react the way the song goes. Team 2’s one was they were singing in the jungle the mighty jungle. Team 3’s one was they were talking with singing. Team 4’s one was when teachers were in the car driving to school with music and they were dancing in the car.

Team 5’s one was when they were eating popcorn while watching the lion king. After that Mr Burt, mr Wiseman, mr Jacobson, mr Somerville and mrs Nua sang the song again when we left the assembly.

making mini torches

Today some people in my class went to creative space and we made mini torches. You need cardboard green tape and some silver tape and a little battery and a light. you need to fold your cardboard and than put the silver tape around the cardboard After that get the little light and get the battery and the green tape and stick the light and the battery to the cardboard and if you want to make it turn on you squeeze it. and you can play around with it and the omg tech let us take it home. And we got to get a picture of the light.
