In an normal year there are 365 days. If you water cacti 3 mls each day you will need. 365 days x by 3 mls of water so that it doesn't die.
3 x 5 =15
3 x 60 = 180
3 x 300 = 900
900 + 180 + 1115 =1095
i checked this on my calculator and it was the same answer and i new it was right. in a leap year it has one day more. So it will be 1095 + 3 = 1098.

ReplyDeleteIt is awesome to read another Summer Learning Journey blog post from you. I like how you calculated for a leap year too. I think that there is a little type where you have written 1115 instead of 15 but you're final number is still correct.
