Activity 2: Living on the Edge summer learning journey
Dear Bethan,
The Tundra is a cold and dry biome it is the coldest biome i have ever been to. it has got no trees it has heaps of snow it is really hard to breath therelittle precipitation, poor nutrients, and short growing seasons.
Woah a tundra sounds like a crazy place to stay! I don't know how I would survive being in a tundra... I am a big baby when it comes to the cold and I don't know if I own enough layers to be somewhere that cold :) Do you like the cold weather or prefer the summer?
Did you manage to see much nature and wilflife while you were there? I am sure there would be lots of different animals to spot around :)
What do you do while you were at the tundra with your class? Did you have cabins to sleep in?
I would love to hear more about your experience Kauri! Awesome work :)
