Activity 2: Living on the Edge summer learning journey

Dear  Bethan,

The Tundra is a cold and dry biome it is the coldest biome i have ever been to. it has got no trees it has heaps of snow it is really hard to breath there little precipitation, poor nutrients, and short growing seasons.

  1. Hi Kauri!

Woah a tundra sounds like a crazy place to stay!
I don't know how I would survive being in a tundra... I am a big baby when it comes to the cold and I don't know if I own enough layers to be somewhere that cold :)
Do you like the cold weather or prefer the summer?

Did you manage to see much nature and wilflife while you were there?
I am sure there would be lots of different animals to spot around :)

What do you do while you were at the tundra with your class?
Did you have cabins to sleep in?

I would love to hear more about your experience Kauri! Awesome work :)

    Nga mihi,
    Ellee :)
