Task Description: We had to make our own estimations on what we think the capacity, mass and length. then we had to do distance shortest to longest and mass lightest to heaviest. then we had to test our level with a link and we had to do the levels and these were my marks.

A brush with the dark


Task Description: We had to read that big text and we were reminded what a clause was and we had to try to understand it. Then we hat to highlight what a clause is and it is when an independent sentence and dependent sentences are put together. Independent sentence is when it makes sense on it's own and dependent is when it doesn't make sense on it's own. then we had to say what we could tell about the sentences at the bottom. and then when there is a picture we had to write one idea of what we think the pictures are.

Task Description: We had to read the text then write what the story was about then we had to know what a clause is then we needed to highlight what a part was dependent and independent dependent means it doesn't make sense on its on and independent is when it makes sense on its own.

measurement


Task Description: we had to measure  Thousand to thousandth for example hectometre the unit so there is three, mass (weight), length and capacity, (how much water there is or how much can it hold) then we had to do the units, on lines that are teacher put down for us so for example M stands for metre so the length of a soccer field is M metres. and KM, kilometres then we did time, so for example how long to bake a cake i would say about an hour, but if you took a days it was either a big  mistake or missing  ingredient or the cake is going to be so nice.

Year 7 step up

Last week we had a step up programme when the year 8's went to camp i was a substitute prefect. We practise all week and when we did the step up programme we got into groups. We had to help the teachers and make chants and make the names for the groups i was strikers. we also did sports and i was in for ball rush and i got most of them because i got chosen to help the girls.
