Activity two: North And South,Summer learning journey

I like the Kereru best here is a picture of it

My home town today is Helena Bay in the North Island.
There a many different beaches which I swim at.
We have New Zealand native bush here too.
We also have native birds that we can hear.
I can hear the native birds, Tui and Kereru, every day.

  1. Kia ora Kauri,
My name is Patricia and I am part of the Summer Learning Journey team. How nice is to see that your are actively engaging on completing the activities, way to go! I am here to comment and support your posts and guide you through this program.
I used to live up North in Paihia and I have been in Helena Bay before, it's such a beautiful place! One of my favourite places around this area is Elliot Bay, have you been there? The kereru is such a big bird huh?! I personally love the Tui as I found they sing quite magical!
For the future, I want you to try format your post better, unfortunately I am unable to see the kereru picture you mentioned. If you need help ask a school friend or you parents to help you out.
Keep up with the great work!
    Kia kaha,
    Patricia
