the first song i did was Poi-e, the second song was the Maori calendar Maramataka, my third one is Aotearoa, my fourth one is wairua, my fifth one was pokarekare ana, and my six one was The Lords Prayer,
my last song is going to be E Noho E Ata (Tuhetia)
out of all of these songs i liked Aotearoa, because it has more tune
and it sound so good i wanted to listen all night.
Hey Kauri, thanks for sharing your favourite Waiata with us! It's great to read that you have so many favourites. I was wondering if you could share a link to the song Aotearoa or perhaps just post the lyrics. I would really love to have a listen.
ReplyDeleteWhat other music do you usually listen to?
Thanks, Billy

I listen to some rock music. I am going to tell you the names of some of my favourite rock songs. Sugar, Aerials, BYOB, Sound of Silence and The greatest song in the world - tribute.
From Kauri
Hey again Kauri, thanks for sharing the link for the song.
DeleteI like some rock music too! I know some of those songs, they are written and performed by a band called System of a Down. I used to like those songs when I was your age too.
Is Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel?
And the final song is by Jack Black? I love that song it's really funny.
Have you seen the movie starring Jack Black called School of Rock?
Thanks, Billy
