The moon
The moon was probably made 4.5 billion years ago, When a large object hit Earth and blasted out rocks that came together to orbit around the Earth. The moon is much smaller than Earth. It is airless, water-less, and lifeless. The gravity of the moon causes two high tides one the Earth every day. The first person to walk on the moon was the American astronaut Neil Armstrong he stepped out of his spacecraft the eagle on twenty first of July 1969 and said these famous words that’s one small step for man one giant leap for mankind.

The phases of the moon
The amount of the moon that you can see from Earth depends on how much of it is lite up by the sun this amount changes each day. The phases of the moon depends on its position in relation to the sun and earth. As the moon makes its way around earth we see the bright parts of the moon's surface at different angles these are could the phases of the moon it takes 29 days the moon to orbit earth.

Dictation
Seasons are caused because of the Earth changing position with the sun. the Earth around the sun called an orbit once a year. As the Earth orbits the sun the amount of sunlight Each place on the planet gets everyday changes slightly. This change causes the seasons. We divide the year into four seasons spring, Autumn, summer, and winter each season last three months summer the warmest season winter the coldest season and spring and autumn lying in between the seasons have a lot of impact of what happens for the Earth.

rocket ship design
My rocket ship is a robot rocket ship it has wheels that has boosters. It has two arms they are both yellow and orange. It has a head with some square and it has a mouth and makes him look sad. It has a giant window in the middle and people can go in it. My rocket ship has a power, it can go to out of space any time and when people are in trouble, it helps them and it controls itself.I am getting my space gear and boarding my ship and taking my gear. I am getting my air tank and putting it on my back. And now I am putting my gloves on. I am ready to go I got everything I need. Now I am ready to take off five four three two one zero blast off.I am going to see some cool things, and it is going to be so exciting. I am going to go to Mars. Wow look at that a big asteroid look how much stars are here, there are a lot of stars. There is no gravity in space, but there is gravity in my spaceship, but I can turn the gravity off in my spaceship. Look there's Mars lets land and stay.

star dome trip
Yesterday, all the Year threes and Year fours got on a bus to go to the Star dome. The bus that the pavilion went in was the one that got to star dome. The year threes went last and they were so excited they were screaming. It was so exciting because I had never been to star dome. We got there and learnt stuff like the nebular that is massive but it looks small because it is so far away and it looks like a star. At the Stardome, we learned some really cool things about our solar system. The only star in our solar system is the sun. We learnt some things about the nebular from the sun. We learnt about that Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system.and we learnt that Jupiter is our biggest planet in our solar system. When we weren’t in the Stardome, we were having fun outside.I was playing on the playground and I was playing on the tower. And the big round hole. And playing imaginary fighting people. I also played on the flying fox. After all this, we headed back to Point England School. In the bus we played rock, paper, scissors. Some of us sang. And some of us had a nap. Some of us just sat there. And some of us were silly.
