What we do on Matariki


What we do to celebrate Matariki we have four options craft, cooking, sports and arts. We do it for the whole day it is so fun and I have been in crafts every time we do Matariki. This time I want to do cooking cause it sounds cool and we can make stuff and eat it also we are doing it tomorrow.  so I wonder what group I will be in they are telling what group we are going to be in. it is cool how we can still do this. They make the Sky tower light up like this picture.

biggest to smallest

we had to put the numbers from biggest to smallest. we got this from our student teachers.

i worked this out because i knew that the number to the left is the bigger number so the big ones are the tenths and the very small ones are thousandths. we got this from four student teachers i would really like to meet them in person.

Task Description: we had to do facts about what i already know of place value and decimals then i had to get the information of the slides and then we had to watch a video. then we had to do the decimals and place value and find out what the place values was. then i had to get paper and write down the decimal on the right in fraction from a to h.

Task Description: we had to  type facts down of what i already known about sea turtles. then we had to read the text and watch a video. then we had to do facts of one topic and we chose the diet of the sea turtle. i had two other buddies to do there task as well i put the pictures in. then we had to do facts that we have learnt.
